5 reality shows in 2008

2007 saw a number of reality shows springing up. And from the looks of it, 2008 is going to be no different. We tell you about 5 reality shows you will see in the New Year.

Nachle Ve – Hosted by Saroj Khan, it will have the choreographer teach aspiring dancers (non-celeb). There will be no auditions for this show which will start in the first week of January. It will be telecast on NDTV Imagine.


Champion Chalbaaz No-1 - In this show, contestants have to play pranks on each other and the biggest prankster will emerge as the winner. Funnymen Sajid Khan and Cyrus Broacha will be the judges while Mona Singh of Jassi fame will be the host. The show will be aired on Sony on weekends.

Say Shava Shava - All actors, mostly from televisions, will have mentors, who will teach them singing and then the non-singing actors have to contest against each other. The show will have only 13-14 episodes. Karan Johar and Simi Garewal will judge the contestants. Ali Asgar will be the host of this NDTV Imagine show.

Friends Forever – A celebrity and his/her friend will be tested about how well they know each other. The buzz is that Abhishek Bachchan will be participating in the show which will be hosted by Karan Patel of Kasturi fame. The judges are yet to be finalized. It will be aired on star plus and will be produced by Optimistix.

(Untitled) - Three contestants in every episode will have to prove why they deserve to win a prize money of 5 lakhs. At the end of every episode, one contestant will be richer by that amount. Vinod Sherawat (Bluffmaster) will host of the show which will be aired on Star one

Apart from the above five, K for Kishore - a signing show to hunt a singer whose voice is the closest to the legendary singer – is starting on Sony this week.
